
Bang Bang Shrimp
Ingredients
Shrimp
- 4 17- fl oz. Vita Ice Orange Mango Naturally Flavored Sparkling Water for serving
- 1 lb. Large Shrimp deveined and shell off
- 2 large Egg Whites
- 1/3 cup Flour
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
Sauce
- 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 3 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp. Coconut Aminos or Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp. Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder or freshly minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Instructions
- For the sauce, simply whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Butterfly the shrimp.
- Whisk the egg whites until frothy.
- Heat up a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil to heat up for 2-3 minute.
- In the meantime, add the flour to a small bowl.
- Dip the shrimp in the egg whites, then the flour, then place carefully into the hot olive oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let them cool on a wire rack lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oils.
