Creamy Pumpkin & Sausage Pasta

  • Vita Ice Black Raspberry Sparkling Water
  • 10-12 oz. Pasta cooked and drained
  • 3 Italian Sausage Links casing removed and sliced into bite size pieces
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree or Butternut Squash Puree
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Whole Milk
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp. Fresh Sage chopped
  • 2 tbsp. Fresh Thyme Leaves
  • Salt & Black Pepper to taste


  • Cook and drain the pasta. Toss in one tablespoon of olive oil. Set aside.
  • Heat up the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat for 1 minute.
  • Remove the sausage links from their casing. Slice into bite-sized pieces. Add into the hot skillet. Brown 1-2 minutes on each side, until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sage and thyme leaves. Saute for 1 minute.
  • Add the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, whole milk, and broth. Stir until well-combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Bring to a boil then simmer for 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Add the pasta and sausage, stir to combine, and simmer for another 3-5 minutes to make sure the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
  • Serve warm with freshly grated parmesan.
